Since I am currently looking over the old data I have transferred my “old-fashioned” pencil drawings to the CAD.
So here are the swingrigg sailplanes I used the last Years.
They are adapted to the MaLi, but also fit well to the Orion. The boats benefit from a low-aspect rig due to their rather low form stability. The high A rig is only intended for very little wind.
First of all the sail plan of the low A rig (A Minus, A#2). It is a very good allround rig which can be driven up to the high wind range and can also keep up well in low winds.
